Recently I spent time in Virginia and got to meet the beautiful little Alexa who was born on Friday the 13th! Big brother Colton was feeling under the weather but we still got some super adorable family photos during our time together. I'm super grateful the B family trusts me to capture these intimate moments in their life.
Some sessions hit a little more close to home to others and Ryan and Jenn's engagement was one of those. Jenn and I have been friends since we were little and grew up in the same neighborhood -- and I'm lucky enough all these years later to be her matron of honor at their upcoming wedding in October! When she asked me to do their engagement photos I said - Well Duh! I hope the almost Mr. & Mrs. love these photos as much as I loved taking them!
This coming year Whitney and Chris will be exchanging vows and becoming husband and wife! But first, we met up for a family/engagement session with their spunky and super adorable daughter Scarlett. We had such a great time, great weather, and look at these smiles-- they were naturals!!
Earlier this summer Jennifer came up to MA and we did a very whimsical girly maternity session at a carousel in Rhode Island (you can check out those photos a few posts back!) but she wanted to incorporate her husband and soon to be big brother Colton so it happened to work out when I was in VA shooting a wedding I popped over for a short visit and we got some very sweet and intimate photographs.
Jennifer certainly is willing and adventurous with my ideas and thats only a fraction of the reason why I love her! We did some very tasteful nude photographs when she was pregnant with Colton and we had to do them again for this little princess.
These photos are some of my all time favorites and I hope you love them too!
